Local 1611 has over 6,000 members in various sectors. Our members are a diverse group of skilled individuals working on British Columbia’s most influential projects, some of which have included; the Kitimat Modernization Project, all B.C. Hydro Electric Dams, Sea-to-Sky Highway Phase 1 & 2, Vancouver Island Highway, Vancouver Library Square Project, Ford Theatre for the Performing Arts, G.M. Place Arena, Kemano Project Phases I and II, Southern Crossing Pipeline Project, CP Rail Tunnel Project Rogers Pass, Golden Ears Bridge, RAV Line Tunnel and the Twin Tunnel Seymour Reservoir Project to name only a few.
