Local 1611 is one of the most diverse Unions in North America. We have thousands of members in the Service Sector which includes; security, parking, landscaping, maintenance, cemetery, crematoriums and janitorial.
These members are the hardworking individuals responsible for the day-to-day functioning of hundreds of facilities and organizations around the province. From grounds keeping to monitoring parking lots, security and janitorial services, you will find our members there.
With the representation of our Union, our members in the Service Sector have bargained Collective Agreements that provide them fair wages, health and dental benefits and pension contributions to ensure they are protected for the future.
